WHO IS MY HERO

My name is meir. My hero is a man called Ezra Yachin. He was born in Jerusalem. When he was 15 years old he joined to Israeli Freedom Fighters. In Israeli Freedom Fighters he attacked the Arabs and fought against them in order to protect his people. Ezra Yachin is still alive, and he is 93 years old, and he lives in Jerusalem.

The big challenge of Ezra Yachin was that he was severely injured. When he arrived to the hospital the doctors did a serious surgery that took many hours and in the end of it the doctor said that he survived with a miracle but he got blind in his right eye.

Until now, when he 92 years old he lecture for soldiers and people and he even received the rank of Major from the military rabbi.

I chose Ezra Yachin because he lectured in my school and I was impressed from him

                                                            who is my hero         my hero is July Edelstein                                                                                               July Edelstein was born in 1958 in the Soviet Union. ?So why did I choose him                                                                                                  after he dismissed from his job because of bad things he said against Stalin he joined an underground that taught jews hebrew (This thing was forbidden) The underground was Zionist .In 1979 July Edelstein asked to immigrate to Israel but then it was forbidden to immigrate to Israel  On September 4, 1984, he was arrested by the K.G.B And he was sentenced to 3 years in prison and  was sent to work in a forced labor camp  After his release, he immigrated to Israel with his family.
